BioHello, and welcome to my online dedicant journal! I'm a new member of ADF trying really really hard to start work on the Dedicant Program. I think work is done trying to eat me now, anyway, so we'll see. :-)
Anyway, a quick bit about myself, for those of you keeping track: I'm a teacher in an independent study program working with at-risk youth. It's a fun job, but predictably demanding. I live out in the desert with my husband and 2.5 cats (lease only lets us have 2, but one recently appeared in our backyard and is content to stay there for the time-being). I'm into Russian history and literaure; in fact, my username is an allusion to my favorite "Mad Monk," Rasputin. I have no interest in pursuing Slavic studies in the ADF, however. I'm a Norse type with a Celtic streak that may or may not be developed at some point. Time will tell, and that's quite enough for now. ^_^
